Township is a game that combines city building with agriculture. At the beginning of the game, the player is guided through a short tutorial. Players start with a starting town and in order to develop that town they can harvest crops, run processing facilities and sell goods. The main currency in the game is T-cash. In addition, players can earn XP (experience points) and gold coins to perform various actions in the game. Coins are used to purchase factories, community buildings, decorations, and XP points. As the player accumulates XP points and enters levels (each level is defeated and requires more XP to upgrade), more types of crops, factories, community buildings, decorations and "special" buildings will become available. Players can spend real money to buy Tcash as well as coins. Players can use the helicopter pad to complete in-game character commands.
