The game has a fast-paced parkour game featuring jumping and sliding behaviors and dynamic music. The game can be called a nightmare for the handicapped. Prepare for a near impossible challenge in the world of Geometry Dash. Push your skills to the limit as you jump, fly and flip your way through dangerous passages and spiky obstacles.

Simple one touch game play with lots of levels that will keep you entertained for hours!

Geometry Dash is a series of music platformer video games developed by Swedish developer Robert Topala. The first game, simply called Geometry Dash, was released on 13 August 2013 on iOS and Android. In Geometry Dash, players can control the movement of icons and navigate along music-based levels, while avoiding obstacles that will immediately destroy the affected icons.

Geometry Dash currently consists of 21 official levels from the initial seven. It is known for its extensive level creation system, which allows players to create their own custom courses, share them online and play courses designed by other players. Over 67 million custom levels have been created. In addition to the 21 official levels, certain user-created levels are included in the game's content, such as map packs, gloves and search bars.

The game has a variety of unique rhythms, and there are props such as flying rockets and gravity rolls to increase the chance of crossing obstacles. Enter the game and challenge yourself.

How to play

Geometry Rush uses a simple touch system (the PC version uses a click system) to control the various vehicles in the game. The player simply touches anywhere on the screen (space, up arrow or left mouse button in the Steam version) to control the character and the vehicles. The player has no control over the speed of the character's movement unless affected by a gear door, and the main skill of the game is timing and pacing.

The ultimate goal of the game is to reach the end and complete the level; however, if the player hits an obstacle they have to start from the beginning. All official levels (created by the game's author at the beginning) are unlocked at the beginning, except for the full version of Clubstep, Theory of Everything 2 and Deadlocked, so the player can play without constraint. The game is made more user-friendly by the ability to collect gold coins scattered throughout the hidden or challenging areas of the main level to unlock additional levels, achievements and more character icons. Changes to the character's appearance will affect user-defined levels and also unlock individual achievements. The progress bar is at the top of the screen to show the player's progress through the level. Players can adjust or remove the progress bar as they wish. Some items in the game change colour depending on the colour of the character icon, and even some background colours change depending on the character. The levels start off with obvious obstacle placement, but as the difficulty increases, some of the mechanisms are scattered among the decorations, lights, spins and even hidden obstacles. This is not an expected feature of the game; as the game is updated and more levels and cubes are added, new levels incorporate the newly added elements to increase the difficulty.

Each level of Geometry Rush features a practice mode. In this mode, players can use respawn points. The respawn points allow the player to die without having to start again. The respawn points are marked with green diamond-shaped gems. Practice mode on the main level unlocks a different colour or character icon, while completing the user level does not unlock any achievements.

Characters can be separated into seven separate forms at various difficulty levels through six separation gates: through a shrink gate they become smaller; through a gravity gate they become gravity inverted, and so on. There are 32 combinations that can be formed by the breakaway doors, and five speeds can be switched. In addition, one of the separation gates can be used to open a two-player mode.

Various doors affect various aspects of the character, they change the size, speed and shape of the character; or put the player into two-player mode, teleporting the player, mirroring the view. There are some jumping devices available in the game that can be activated either by touch or by stepping on them, throwing the character out.

As players unlock achievements, they are also rewarded with character icons or colours to use as materials for customising their characters, as well as unlocking the ability to adjust the background colour of the character interface.

Level editing is unique to the full version. Users can create their own custom levels and post them for other players to try out. Players must first complete their own custom levels to ensure that the level is passable. The soundtrack can be official or can use Newground.com's music as the soundtrack. Other players can use the official levels to rate the levels. The highest difficulty level is "Demon". As the name suggests, even experts will lose quickly on their first playthrough. Some achievements are only unlocked after a certain number of Demon levels have been completed. Each player has a unique ID for the levels they post.
