How to play

Building your city

Your first job should be to build your city. As you begin your game, you will have several buildings available to you, and you can learn about each building's properties and the value of any abilities it affects by clicking on the icon next to the building name.

At first, you will want to build as many farms and sawmills as you can, as they will harvest food and wood as time goes on. Gathering resources is crucial to developing your army and building your city. You can also collect resources from the bonus crates, which can be opened in the "Inventory" bar when needed. Please be careful not to keep too many loose resources. If you are attacked, anything above the warehouse protection level may be stolen. It is wise to open only the resources you need at a time.

Of course, food comes before troops, so your army will regularly consume extra food and maintenance costs. Check the planks by the drawbridge in your city to confirm your current maintenance costs, which will increase as you train more soldiers. Protected food in the depot will not be consumed.

With a robust army, you can venture into the world map and start hunting creatures for resources, crafting materials and other rewards.

Explore the continent of Westeros

You can access the world map by tapping the rotating gyroscope in the bottom left corner of the screen. Each creature on the world map will display their level and recommended battle power level for a rough estimate of difficulty. Battle power is a general indication of your strength, and throughout the game you will see battle power suggestions next to the "crossed swords" symbol.

You can use the creature finder to find specific types of enemies on the world map. You can also find resource nodes such as farms or active caravans, where you can harvest materials for upgrades.

Any march you send will consume stamina. Additional stamina can be purchased by clicking the blue plus sign next to your stamina total in the marching army selection menu. You can also view your stamina bar and purchase additional stamina when viewing your profile.

Expand your fortress

Back at your fortress, you can use your resources to upgrade or enhance buildings by clicking on the appropriate button when you click on them. By default you will always have one builder available to help upgrade buildings, but you can also purchase a second and third builder and use gold to upgrade multiple buildings at once.

When you upgrade a building you can see what advantages your buildings will focus on by clicking on the "i" icon on the building. If you're not sure what to upgrade next, check out Tyrion's quests by clicking on the icon in the bottom left corner of your city screen. You also have a number of daily quests that will help you earn daily rewards.
