Description

This is a great game for players who like sports games. In story mode, Mario must conquer a powerful and talented tennis player named Lucien. To accomplish this task, you must help him accomplish many tasks. His first job is to stop Lucien from destroying the Basque kingdom. Generally speaking, this is a more creative game than traditional sports games. One of the main features of the game is the energy meter, which can be charged at times during the game by simply pulling the ball. High energy means players can slow down in the heat of the game to catch the ball more easily. If the situation changes it can also be used to completely stop the time and shoot the ball completely to the other side of the field from a first-person perspective with a special shot.

How to play

Mario, peach, toad and other mushroom kingdom heroes have been serving them and right, but the clumsy valio and valuchi have managed to acquire a cursed tennis racket, giving its users incredible power.

There are more than 15 playable characters, making it the largest lineup of all Mario Tennis matches.

Gameplay. There is a lot of strategy compared to previous games as you must pay attention to meter, position and decide whether to use specials. There is a lot of risk/reward when deciding what to do in real time. The game will test your twitch reflexes with a split-second decision to match up with someone at the same skill level very exhilarating. Of course there are the basic hitting styles: flat, topspin, slice, high hanging. But this game uses a meter system or energy meter, so you must always pay attention because you can use "zone shots", "zone speed" or "special shots" for offensive and defensive maneuvers. When you are constantly fighting opponents

-Zone Shot rallies, the meter will build up.

If the enemy does deal direct damage via Zone Shot, the target crosshair is aimed at a specific area of the map or at the opponent itself, causing it to take damage. If a match has 3x hits, you will be KOed giving your opponent points and your racquet will not take damage to the area speed. When activated, you will be in slow motion or bullet time.

-Special Shot. You can save the meter until it is full to initiate a special shot. This can destroy your enemy's racquet in one hit (instead of hitting 3 balls like a zone shot), but again, if timed correctly, your opponent can block it.

-Fancy Shot. Makes you jump/dash to the side of the court, and also helps you build meter faster than a normal shot. Charge shots can also build meter, but not as fast as expected.

-Court hazards. There are also hazards in the court, such as portal mirrors, random bombs in the court, and piranha plants on the net. You can also turn this option off as needed.

-Simple rules. You can turn off all features and play tennis with just the base ball without the durability of the racket ...... but I don't think it's that interesting.

-Swing mode. You can use full motion controls like Wii Sports Tennis as needed, but it's not as effective/effective as traditional controls. Great for casual play among friends and family, or if you want to sweat it out/get off the couch.

A different kind of online multiplayer than Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, which you can play online with friends.

You can participate in a number of tournaments and online tournaments. Matchmaking in tournaments depends on your online ranking and the internet latency of regular matches. Online tournaments are timed events, such as Splatoons Splatfest or Salmon Run.

You can also earn costumes and characters through participation rewards -
