The gameplay of Lara Croft: Relic Run is almost identical to other similar games. Swipe your finger towards the sides of the screen to move Lara Croft, and swipe your finger up and down to make Lara Croft jump or slide sideways. Using special moves, you can jump off walls or shoot with your gun.

Lara must navigate an endless loop of environments, accumulating points based on the distance she runs. The game uses touch controls and different actions on the screen will prompt Lara's movements. If Lara hits an obstacle, the run will end unless the player uses a cross stamp, in which case the run will continue from the checkpoint. In these environments, Laura must navigate around natural obstacles and deliberate traps. As the run continues, the obstacles and traps increase in difficulty and frequency.
